Meet The Woman Who
Is Moulding Communities

“The best part about being a Community Associate is that I get to work with women of the next generation. The journey isn’t always easy, as Nanhi Kalis can drop out of school any time, and that is why I do a home visit every time a girl is absent for 3-4 days. Quite often, they remain absent because their parents intend to get them married or make them work to earn extra income. I often have heated discussions while trying to convince parents to send their daughters regularly to school. I am happy that on most occasions we have succeeded in actually stopping both, child marriage and child labour.”
